Scott is a Vermont-based children’s book author and illustrator. He enjoys placing unexpected characters in humorous situations while bringing to life his unconventional artistry.
Scott lives in the quiet town of Charlotte with his wife, three kids, two cats and one dog.
Scott is almost constantly reading. For children’s books he recommends Duck on a Bike by David Shannon, Don’t Push the Button by Bill Cotter, and anything by Mo Willems. For adult books, he’s a huge fan of anything by John Steinbeck and Stephen King. He’s always trying to find new genres and authors, so feel free to drop him a recommendation if you’ve read something great that you just have to share.
When he’s not writing, you can find Scott ice fishing or playing drums in his band Dog Water.
Scott loves penguins, ska music, board games, hockey and the color yellow.
